The Learning Sciences Conference in Israel is a conference that takes place once a year, starting in 2015. Research in the Learning Sciences is an interdisciplinary study based on diverse research disciplines and paradigms such as information science, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, neuroscience, cognitive anthropology, educational psychology, and learning in the various fields of knowledge. The purpose of the conference is to bring together young researchers, curriculum developers and teachers, to expose research in the field of learning sciences and to create a productive discourse that will advance research and educational work.

The Fifth Conference of Learning Sciences in Israel will focus on learning in the fields of knowledge, with the goal of stimulating renewed discussion and reflection on the basic assumptions that guide and shape teaching and learning in the fields of knowledge in and outside the school.

Program

  • Lectures by guests from abroad;
  • A variety of workshops, round tables and multi-discourse on a variety of subjects, leading and collaborating with faculty members from institutions of higher education throughout the country;
  • And an interactive poster session of young researchers.
